Acadia is a nation on EarthMC, a Minecraft server where thousands of strangers run governments nobody enforces.

People pay taxes to towns that could vanish tomorrow. They defend borders that exist only by agreement.

The app is the boring, useful part: who's online, who's wealthy, how the rankings moved, where the claims sit.

I built it because I wanted to watch the thing up close.

What holds a place like that together isn't rules — it's the small daily evidence that other people are still there.

Making a tool that surfaces that evidence turned out to be a kind of answer.
